National Legislation

All countries of the EU have developed some legislation and policy in relation to the management of diversity. Initiatives in the areas of equality, disability, employment, health and safety and other areas may all be relevant here. It is important to take these initiatives into account when designing and implementing diversity management policies in the workplace, as they provide the framework within which enterprise must operate within a given Member State.
